# text-mirror

Walks a directory tree, detects each file's format by content and writes a parallel tree of plain-text files. An append-only manifest records how every file was handled, including the ones that did not convert, so the mirror always has a known denominator. It feeds text tooling that cannot read binary formats, such as data-classification, and the text tree is also a corpus. Early development.

## Install

```sh
cargo add text-mirror      # library
